The Bradford Economic Strategy, produced in 2007 by the Bradford Economic Partnership and Bradford Council sets out a vision for Bradford's economy to 2016, and highlights key priorities for action.

Regeneration summit rescheduled

The regeneration summit themed around transport and connectivity has been rescheduled to take place on 15 July 2010, at the Keighley Campus of Leeds City College.

Due to the severe ice and the forecast for more snow and sub zero temperatures, we have taken the decision to postpone the transport and connectivity summit in Ilkley on 14 January. 

We apologise for the short notice and we will contact the confirmed attendees with new arrangements for the summit in due course.

Monthly Unemployment Update

January 2010 unemployment figures for Bradford district were published on Wednesday 17 February 2010. 

A total of 16,189 people were claiming Job Seekers Allowance in Bradford in January 2010, up by 761 claimants since last month.
