Economic Strategy

Introduction

The Bradford Economic Strategy is a declaration of intent. It has been drawn up by the private sector-led Bradford District Economic Partnership and Bradford Council, together with local and regional partners. It states clearly our Vision for the district's economy, allocates responsibilities and identifies nine Priorities for action, under the three themes of People, Business and Place.

A strong economy is the engine that drives successful places and this can only be achieved by involving Bradford district's most powerful asset, its people. By encouraging ambition, a spirit of enterprise and investment in business and communities we will take forward our already fast growing economy.
